Each year, summer seems to be warmer and longer than the year before. Within the last 30 years, central air conditioning has become more common in southern New England. A large percentage of homes in the area still have either no a/c, or the original system that was installed when their home was first built decades ago. At Big Red, we want to make sure your home is comfortable throughout the year. We service and maintain all brands of residential and small commercial air conditioning equipment. Time to replace that old system? We take the time to properly size your system to make sure heat and humidity are removed from your home, leaving you comfortable and stress-free. Do you have a central air furnace but no a/c? We can retrofit a new a/c system onto your existing furnace! We also offer pricing options for all budgets.
*All replacement systems we install come with a free maintenance, performed 1 year after installation*

DID YOU KNOW???- R-22 (freon) was the standard refrigerant in residential a/c systems prior to 1996. It was slowly phased out over time and is no longer being produced as of 2020. From 1996 to today, R-410 has been in use to replace R-22. If your current system uses R-22, you will no longer be able to have your system charged by most hvac repair companies. We recommend thinking about upgrading your system so it’s up to date and able to be repaired if needed, so you’re not stuck in the heat.
